Terms and Conditions  – Service – Products – Consultations

1.                  Definitions
The following are the terms and conditions for Posh Frocks & Wedding Belles (PF&WB). We may refer to Posh Frocks & Wedding Belles as ‘we’ or ‘our’ or PF&WB throughout the terms and conditions below.

The following terms and conditions apply to our trading business .

2.                  Materials

2.1  Images on our website. Due to variations between colours between different computer screens we cannot guarantee that the colours of our products on the website are true to the actual colours. We always advise to visit the shop to ensure the colours of our fabrics are as required.

3.                  Design and Ordering

3.1  Our wedding dresses are on a 10 week order– We sell new and ex-sample wedding dresses. We cannot reserve any of our dresses without a non-refundable deposit. Dresses must usually be paid for in full at time of order as they are off the rails.

4.                  Fittings

4.1  To ensure that your dress is a perfect fit you may be required to attend three or four appointments for fitting at our bridal shop. You need to ensure you can attend these appointments as missed appointments may hold up the completion of your dress. If you need to cancel any appointment we ask that you please give us at least 24 hours notice where possible.

4.2  We do not request that you make an appointment to visit our bridal shop and we always have a warm welcome for everyone who comes through our doors at any time. However we recommend that to ensure you receive  one-to-one attention you book an appointment with us prior.

4.3  What to wear to your fitting appointments

We highly recommend you wear the shoes you intend to wear on the wedding day itself. If that is not possible then as near to it as possible. We also highly recommend you wear the intended underwear too.  It is possible that the wrong footwear or underwear worn at fittings could result in inaccurate measurements. We hold no responsibility for any alterations that may be required as a result of this and alterations of this nature may incur a charge.

5.                   Measurements and Alterations

5.1   On your first fitting we very carefully ensure we measure you accurately. When placing your order with us you are agreeing that we have taken your measurements correctly as on that day.

Measurements given to us, taken by a third party, are at your discretion. We accept no responsibility for any inaccuracies in any measurements not taken by our staff members. A charge may be incurred for any alterations we need to make to correct any mistakes of measurements.

5.2                Variations to initial measurements

Every effort will be made to compensate for any change in your measurements should they change after the initial fitting. In some cases increases or decreases of measurements can make it extremely difficult or even impossible to amend. We accept no responsibility for any such changes in measurement during your fitting period.

It is your responsibility to inform us of any pregnancies you are aware of at time of fittings. Should you become pregnant in-between fitting dates or after you have received your final fitting but before your wedding day we cannot be held responsible for any alterations or even replacement dresses  if required.

5.3                Alteration Prices

All dresses will be supplied as near to the correct sizes as possible, however with products of this nature it is extremely likely that alterations of some kind will be required. We use the services of a seamstress who can make any alterations to dresses as per the customer’s requirements.  Whilst we have a seamstress to hand who will visit the shop, take measurements and alter any dress we stress that any seamstresses we use are self employed and are not employees of  PF&WB. As such we accept no responsibility for the work carried out by any seamstress we may recommend or use as part of our service. All work is payable upon completion of any alterations made. No dress will be released until all payments have been received. Prices vary for each job so a no-obligation quote will be presented to you before any work is carried out.

6.               Dress Collections

6.1  We do not deliver dresses to you, unless under exceptional circumstances. We will contact you when your dress is ready to be collected from us. In most cases you will be asked to partake in a final fitting to ensure you are entirely happy with your dress .

6.2  You will be asked to inspect the dress before you take it away. Once the dress is taken from our premises it is no longer our responsibility. It is down to the purchaser to ensure the dress remains in good clean condition. Any repairs, alterations or cleaning of the gowns may be undertaken by us but will likely incur reasonable fees.

7.                  Payments

7.1  Once you have chosen your dress we will ensure you are made aware of the total price.  Any alterations required will not be included in the price of any of our dresses.

7.2 A deposit will be required before any item is ordered for you. The minimum payment we accept as a deposit will be 50% of the final price.

7.3  Final payment of any items ordered will be required when we receive it. You will be contacted to come to collect your goods and payment in full will be expected before any goods leave our premises.

8                   Cancellations and Returns
